  1. Give admins the ability to see an audit trail of a scheduled task.

    Allows for auditing of the schedule times, seeing if jobs are scheduled in a timely manner, if jobs have been rescheduled or when they were initially scheduled. Also nice to have a trail of any deleted jobs/tasks.

Just to clarify, are you requesting a feature that keeps of edits to the schedule? Currently, you can see edits to timesheets in the Audit Log, but it sounds like you are referring more to tracking schedule changes.

  2. Specific Schedule Change Notifications to Employees / Ability to notify only 1 employee

    Employee Schedule Notifications by individual employee that tells the employee what was updated so they know what specifically the change is and not just that there is a change.

  3. OCR (Character recognition) search for all data inputed (including receipts)

    Add OCR as an integrated part of search abilities. This would enable management to search specific verbage/items on not only jobs but receipts. For example, if management needed to seach for a machine rental on a specific job, OCR would enable the receipt image to be generated when searching "Excavator Rental"

  4. I would like a report that shows the actual time an employee punches in vs. the time they are being marked in when using quarter hr rounding

    We use quarter hour rounding in ClockShark. We would like a report showing the actual time an employee punches in vs. the quarter hour they are being paid for, along with a variance. We believe some of our employees may be taking advantage of the quarter hour rounding and want an easy way to identify this.

  6. Clear filters button for Scheduler

    When you have applied filter to Scheduler, it would be easier if a button appeared for clearing filter instead of having to go into filters and deselecting and selecting All employess and apply

  10. Add a breakout for Department Hours when Creating a Job Detail report.

    When Creating a Job Detail report, I would love to see a breakout by department. Currently the report is broken out by Dates & Notes, Employee, and Task. Just need that one more category so you can see how many hours were required per department for each job!

ClockShark does allow you to choose your departments when running those reports, but it will individually list those hours per employee. Being able to see the hours by department is a great idea. Let’s let folks vote on it here, and our engineering team will consider this for a future update!

  11. Make multiple tabs for the schedule so I can have a schedule for multiple clients

    It would be beneficial if I could view all scheduled jobs in a master schedule or in a tab designated to a specific client. I find working with one master schedule can look very busy as we have multiple crews working on multiple clients.

    FAR Compliance for gov't contractors requires record locking, mandatory explanations for edited punches, digital signature, multiple payroll items for Cust:jobs.

  14. overlay all employees gpsTrak on one map

    I would love to see a feature that allows you to overlay all employees gpsTrak info on one map, maybe give each employee a different color for their particular set of bubbles/pins/lines that show if they are all in the same place?

    Hi, Angela! It’s great receiving your feedback on this idea. At the moment, when all your employees are clocked in, you can see this on the Who’s Working Now screen; and after folks clock out, you can see it individually for each employee in their TimeSheets.

    Your suggestion to have a way to view all employees on one map, after they clock out, is a great one. Let’s let folks vote on it so we can consider adding it in a future update! :)

  15. you should be able to add attachments from the schedule screen , not have to go back to the jobs screen every time.

    it make no sense that we would need to go to jobs screen to add attachments without option to add at schedule screen , since jobs are changing and being updated all the time, would be quicker and more efficient to add on the go and when setting up schedule .

    Thanks for sharing your idea here on the Voting Page! Currently, that permission is one of the remaining permissions that distinguish an Admin from a Manager. Thanks for sharing how helpful it would be to be able to clone that permission for other non-admins.

    Just to clarify your request, are you asking for a signature line and Admin notes feature on the “Employee Details” report? You can print the employee notes on that report, but I’m not sure if that’s what you’re asking for. Feel free to share any extra details you have so our developers can be confident when considering it.

  18. Preset value for time. Location Confirm Only.

    job time estimated as time sheet value. the clocking in as proof is most important to me, not the amount of time per se. It is useful to see if someone is performing poorly due to rushing but payment is set to an exact amount of time therefore using the job time instead of GPS time would save time in QuickBooks changing all the times to the estimated time. Ok... time out. phew.

    Out of curiosity, have you seen the time-rounding settings inside ClockShark? You can choose 5 or 15 minutes. This might be helpful if your employees are always clocking in just a few minutes off of their scheduled times: it would just round it to them to the nearest 5/15 minutes. Feel free to let me know if you think that could help somewhat.

    It would be really helpful if the payroll items could map to the job and be available for the employee to choose. We have payroll items associated with the job they are working on. So after the import is complete I still have to go and edit the time card in Quickbooks.

    Thanks for posting your idea here on the Voting Forum: we love getting your feedback! I definitely understand how having payroll items connected to ClockShark Jobs would be helpful: currently, you can map payroll items to Tasks. As a result, many of our customers will create unique service items/tasks for each job, so they can avoid having to manually add the payroll item in the timecards after export. Do you think that’s a possible solution?
