  1. Ability to add a tag, color change, or other information for individual days of a schedule job

    We clean properties. Some cleaning days are "quick turns," meaning same-day, and others have scheduling flexibility and can be moved forward several days. A visible way to differentiate the two would be amazing.

    After some communication, this was a date-specific issue not a job-specific issue.

    The best workaround at the moment would just be to add some notes to that scheduled shift. Then on the schedule when you click on that shift you can see those notes.

    Since we have tons of ideas, we tend to prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. If this becomes a popular request, we will build it!

  2. Side By Side Approval

    It would be nice to find a way to "compare" time sheets side by side when approving. Many times I have 2-3 people working on a crew and one person inputs the wrong time. It would be helpful and create more accurate time sheets if I can view everyone side by side to ensure proper entry.

    I could definitely see how that could be helpful. There are a couple of things that may help you in the meantime as we don’t have exactly what you’re looking for.

    On our approvals page, you can quickly view and compare the total hours between employees before you approve them. If you want to see more details about the start and end times, job worked, and task worked then you could open up two timesheet windows and side by side on just your browser.

    Hopefully this helps! Since we have tons of ideas, we tend to prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. If this becomes a popular request, we will build it!

  3. Lock the Header menu so it follows you down the page

    May be a trivial issue, but locking the header so I can see and select timesheet, schedule, reports, admin, etc. if I'm at the very bottom of viewing timesheets for "z" employee (on view timesheet) without scrolling AAAALLLLLL the way to the top of the page to select another task. Just like locking a row/header in excel.

  4. Allow notes to be added to the calendar.

    Just had a couple questions to clarify. Are you just wanting to put a note on the schedule? Would it be associated with an employee and a day?

    Would this be visible to the employee, admin only? Any other details for what you are looking for would be really useful, thanks!

  5. calendar with holiday

    I noticed when I am going to schedule, there are no days marked that legal holidays fall on. So I don't schedule work on days people are closed
    IE Thanksgiving, Christmas , New Years, etc

  6. Allow the job budget to be comprised of sub-budgets or task budgets

    That way you could have a project or job with a budget of 500 hours, but 100 of that is budgeted to planning, while another 100 is budgeting for electrical work, etc.

    As the work gets done you can see the progress of all the items getting done as well as the total progress. Notifications would be great as well!

  7. Modify budget hours with CO as those come up

    Each job has original budgeted hours. In our case we deal with a lot of scope changes and change orders. Would love to see budgeted hours section expanded to add hours and notes as change orders are issued.

    Other part is to add functionality for tasks and allowed hours for specific tasks which would/could tie in to Change Order as a task and budgeted hours for it.

    Having budgeted hours as a whole when you have 15 or 50 tasks is not that helpful.

  8. Filter by Department

  9. "Taken" time off report.

    Please create a report that can be generated to show time off "Taken". Currently you can only see "Approved" time which in reality may not have been taken by the employee due to cancelation.

    This one is technically possible. Our “Taken” status is actually the same as our “Approved” status but the date is in the past.

    So if you run the Time Off report for the last month until today, and run it just for the “Approved” status, you should only see Taken requests. The one caveat is if there today happens to fall on an in progress request, that will still show up as Approved.

    But we can make this process a little easier as well, thanks for the feedback!

  10. Be able to switch schedule views without having to go to the current week.

    Currently if you change views (Employee / Jobs) in the schedules page you need to be on the current week. if you change it in the past or future weeks the dates are incorrect. Please consider correcting this bug so you can easily switch views as needed without backtracking.

  11. PLEASE Allow Managers to add employees with out Admin access

    PLEASE Allow Managers to add employees so we can still have limited access and not have to give them admin. My HR department is paid Hourly. In order for me to allow them to onboard and add an employee I have to give them Admin access which won't restrict them from changing their own hours! This is a huge flaw! Please change!

    You are correct about the current functionality, we definitely want to improve how our permissions work.

    Always keep in mind that with our audit log you can see who added time and review it to make any needed changes.

  12. When searching for a Job that all information is there from employees on the field too.

    Right now if I want to see information on a job - the only info I can see is what I upload for the employee to see. I'd like to see notes, pictures, and time worked on this job under the job as a whole.

    The good news some of this is possible! With our new Conversations feature, both admins and employees can communicate via comments on a Job, upload attachments and photos, mention each, and get notified about Jobs they follow.     There are still more areas to add as you mentioned. I will bring this to our team so we can discuss it for future projects. Since we have tons of ideas, we tend to prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. If this becomes a popular request, we will build it!

  13. Missed clock in notifications to Admins

    CS currently has a notification only after 4 hours of a missing clock in. Can this be adjusted? In heath care, we can not wait 4 hours to be notified that an employee has not clocked in. Start it at 5 minutes late. Would be nice to also have push notifications and not just the email option.

  14. Add a location pulldown when selecting job and task

    We don't want to use geo-fencing but need to track employee locations for tax purposes. Currently we have rolled location into our tasks (jobsite - installation vs shop - installation), but it would be great to have a separate pulldown where an employee could select their location.

  15. Ability to reorder jobs after the scheduling with drag and drop

    When I drag and drop jobs to the schedule it would be great if they stayed in the order I drag them over and not rearrange themselves alphabetically or numerically. I list my jobs as addresses. A lot of time there is no set time for completion of a job, just once the employees are done they proceed to the next job. So if I have a job at 4 Main St And 9 White St in my job list, I drag 9 White St over to the employee schedule for them to go to that job first, then I…

    The calendar will automatically go by the schedule times, but when the time matches (like with all day shifts), then the calendar is alphabetized. This is a great idea and would allow users to create more of a scheduled flow rather than having to edit the job name or put in start/end times.

  16. Add worker names when looking at jobs

    When looking at a job, the employees or workers that worked the job should be able to show up to see who worked at that job.

  17. Easier PTO Tracking in Lower Plans

    It is very cumbersome to enter PTO in timesheets if not on the higher level plan where PTO is tracked. We can set it up as a Job, but it is easy to miss in the time sheet. It would be nice if you could find a way to allow some basic tracking of PTO and/or easier ways to see it in time sheets even if we are not on a plan that tracks PTO.

  18. Multiple Administrator roles. Allow Job and customer editing but block edits to timesheets

    I would like to add one of our team members to help schedule and update jobs but I don't want them to be able to edit or adjust their own or others time sheets.Is there a multi-level administrator function in the works that allows an employee to edit jobs and customers but not times?

  19. Searching and finding job info (e.g. customer address) in jobs search box.

    In jobs search box, it'd be nice to be able to just find a customer through address that is in their customer info.

  20. Selecting multiple tasks when assigning a shift

    When adding a shift it only allows for one task to be selected. It would be nice to be able to select multiple tasks to be completed throughout the duration of the shift.
