PTO Report change
I would like to see a PTO report that looks more like the Employee Detail Report, instead of Time Sheet Report. I want to see when an Employee used his PTO for the year, and I have to have 52 pages of report per employee to sift thru to find it, since it will only put one week per page. I would just like a listing of the PTO days, leaving work days off.
3 votesHappy to announce that a new and improved Time Off report has been released!
Thank you all for the feedback, it was extremely helpful in building this new report. The report has great summary and details sections to help you get the information you need quickly. It also doesn’t take up as much paper.

Please bring back the option to click last two weeks when printing Employee Timesheets.
It was easier to click on last two weeks then looking at the calendar and remembering the last pay period. I never had to "think" about it before and made things go really fast. Would like to see that option brought back.
1 voteJust wanted to let you know that the “Last 2 Weeks” option is back for the reports date selector and the export time date selector! Thanks for the feedback!

Timesheet direct date going back to previous month's or years to edit time sheets
I have a suggestion:
Please make so I can go back on the timesheet calender to specific dates.
Ex: If I wanted to go back 6 months to look at 2 week on a pay period etc...
I am suggesting this because I have to go back and add time or correct something that has been brought to my attention after the fact.
Thanks,
JT1 voteThanks for the great idea and votes!
This has been added so you can quickly select a certain week without have to go through each one by one. The same kind of calendar is coming to the scheduler soon as well!

admin should be able to change schedule for all employees from the phone app
all employees should be able to see job addresses from the schedule1 vote -
Monthly schedule should just say September for September vs August 21-October 11
When looking at the monthly schedule it lists the actual dates you are seeing vs the month ie. the month of September is listed as August 21-October 11 which means every time I have to take a moment to reconfigure in my head that I am working in September which is not listed. I much rather have it look like google calendar where it says September and the August and October dates are just grayed out.
1 voteHey Maya, this actually did get updated recently! So now it just says “February” but still includes the days around the month that you were referring to. Thanks for sharing your feedback with us!

headers

Admin ability to put in Unpaid Time off for Techs
Make it possible for Admins to login and put in unpaid time off. This would be for a technician that calls out due to sickness or an emergency that cannot access their phones to clock in.
1 voteHey Molly, thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it.
We did add this functionality now actually! You can add PTO/sick time directly for an employee now!

Rounding up and down for time input, if staff haven't clock in by say 8am and clock in at 8.07 then then the clock doesn't start until 8.15
Link (integrate) clock shark with Xero in New Zealand please......... Thanks Aaron
6 votesTwo different ideas got merged here. One is for rounding to the nearest 15 minutes. We do have this as an option (as well as 5 minute rounding) and you can set it up under Admin > Company Settings.
The other idea of restricting clock ins to a certain time I merged with another idea you can view here: http://ideas.clockshark.com/forums/921700/suggestions/12311271

Drop down function
Drop down function could be better, as you type any name Job name or Employee, currently you still have to "click" to get that name to appear in the said field otherwise the name goes away and you have to start typing all over again

Add a footnote of the employess name on the bottom of the printed timesheets
Could ClockShark please add the employees name to all of the timesheets that are printed out. Currently, if the timesheet report is 3 pages or longer, the name is not printed on the 3rd page. It would be great if there was a foot note on the bottom. I am currently having to handwrite it on all of the 3rd pages. Thank you.
1 voteThis has since been updated. The timesheets report does include the employee name on every page now!

Sort Tasks Numerically in Schedules
Currently adding/editing a shift in Schedules sorts Tasks by last used and not in a numerical order drop-down list. This does not occur in My Time Clock entries nor iPhone app. Makes more sense to be consistent and keep in the same alpha or numerical order...making finding Tasks more logical and more easily repeated.
1 voteHey again Mark, just wanted to let you know that this was just fixed recently.
So now the tasks when adding a shift on the schedules are sorted alphanumerically!

Allow me to run a report that reflects the daily over time and weekly over time and specific time period report.
Within the employee detail report or the time sheets report. I would like to see a daily over time total, weekly over time and total over time for the pay period I am running payrolls for. Something similar to "my time sheet"
Something like this: Monday 8.00 reg/ 0.25 over time
Weekly: 40.00 Reg and below it. Over Time 0.32, just like the my sheet and for the pay period would be nice to see as pay period total regular time then beneath it pay period total over time as a confirmation for the breakdown of the daily, weekly and…1 voteHey everyone, happy to announce our new Quick Summary report!

Employee Summary Report -- Include PTO Summary at Bottom
This should include a summary below the table for PTO amounts taken by each employee...other "task types" would be helpful, too
2 votesHey everyone, happy to announce our new Quick Summary report!

administrator entry of time off
I love the new time off option, however it would be helpful to administrators to be able to input time off particularly for sick time.
1 voteHey Tamara, thanks for adding your suggestion!
This is something we actually just implemented. If you head over to Admin > Time Off, you’ll see a new button for “Add Time Off.” So now the admins can directly add the request on behalf of the employees.
