Hey Alison! Thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it.
I think this is a great idea and one others have expressed for job hours as well. Do you think it would be helpful to have a breakdown underneath these quick totals that would have the total hours for each job/task that the employee worked on?
We are exploring this option so I would love any feedback that you can provide!
It would be great to be able to view your notes in your schedule on the computer without having to edit the job, just like you can view it on your phone7 votes

This is something we are considering for a future update. This would definitely include the ability to go directly to the job by clicking on it from the left, but I think an important piece is also being able to view the schedule notes by clicking on that shift.

We are looking at providing job statuses or stages a little later in the year. Do you think assigning a job a stage (like ‘ready to be scheduled’, ‘billing phase’, ‘plumbing’, etc.) and then being able to filter by these would solve your need?
Currently, notes attach to a job through an employee clocked into that job. It would be great if the notes could be accessed by the job and not through the employee that made them originally. We do not give all employees full access but there are times an employee needs to know what has been done on a job.32 votes
Hey everyone, thanks for the votes and the comments on this idea! Currently we have the ability for the employee to leave notes on the timesheet, as well as having an admin add notes/attachments to the job itself. These are available to be seen by the employee for more direction about that job.
We are exploring a more collaborative feature where the employee notes will be visible by the job that way you can easily view everything getting done as it pertains to each job!
Currently adding/editing a shift in Schedules sorts Tasks by last used and not in a numerical order drop-down list. This does not occur in My Time Clock entries nor iPhone app. Makes more sense to be consistent and keep in the same alpha or numerical order...making finding Tasks more logical and more easily repeated.1 vote
Hey Mark, thanks for pointing this out! I think this is just a little detail we missed.
We do have alphanumerical sorting everywhere else on the website so I’m going to see if we can get that added here as well.
I suggest having a drop down menu with job statuses such as 'in progress' 'complete' 'to be scheduled' etc. preferably with an admin setup option where we can create the list of statuses.
Ideally the guys in the field (from mobile app) should be able to change statuses (preferably we would be able to limit which statuses they can select from).
Last but not least it would be great to be able to sort jobs on the job page by status63 votes

Have a report for budgets is an idea we are considering for inclusion in an upcoming update. If you like this idea, please vote for it so we can prioritize it in the schedule.
Allow me to set my work day,
say from 7 am to 9 pm and then when clicking on the time, I dont have to scroll from, 12 am to 7am
Make it a user defined default but if I want I can start the clock at 5 am on the odd time that may happen.34 votes
Using presets to speed up the time entry on schedules and when adding time to a time sheet is an idea we are considering. If you need this feature, please viote with your support. We’d love to build all of these features now but are limited to doing the ones with the most votes first since each feature takes a good amount of time and resources to build.
We currently have an excel spreadsheet with over 150 MasterFormat cost codes.
Would like the ability to upload the spreadsheet data to Tasks instead of having to post each task/code individually.20 votes
Wanted to update this idea. We currently have a method for the ClockShark team to upload CSV lists for your company. We can provide a template for you to return to us and we will handle the uploading for you.
But we are also reviewing this and want to provide this feature to the users directly!
