If an employee is made inactive still make there name with hours show up on the Time Sheets screen and in reports for the previous weeks they clocked in for

All employees (active, inactive, and deleted) will show up on the reports and you can even filter them out to choose a select grouping. Inactive employees don’t show up on the timesheets or schedules as we don’t want them to clutter up the area. This can also get with certain integrations.
Best practice is to view their information on the reports and if you really need them on the timesheets you can go back and activate for a short amount of time. Since everything is prorated, you will either get charged a very small amount (something like $.03) or even nothing at all!
