  1. Client Info (Phone, Email, Notes about client) should have dedicated spot under details.

    There should be a way when adding a Job to add the Clients contact info (name, phone, notes such as gate access/personal note about client) and this info should show up at the top of the Details page. As of now you have to manually type in any contact info into the job notes (which should be reserved for notes about the job). This would not only look better from a UI perspective but would save the employee's time by having it under the Job name/# (above the address line).

  2. Job list w/ job details available to employees

    Make a complete job list available for employees to see on the app, so they can see info like the address for all job sites (not just job names).

  4. Have an employee able to create jobs via PC and not just on the mobile app without having to be an administrator.

    It would be nice to have an employee able to create and edit jobs at the desktop and not just on a mobile app. This would prevent giving that employee "administrator". I want the employee to create jobs but not be able to change timecards.

    The new “edit jobs” manager permission is live! Now you can let employees manage and edit jobs they have access to on the website and also create new jobs if needed.

  5. Attach notes to a job

    Currently, notes attach to a job through an employee clocked into that job. It would be great if the notes could be accessed by the job and not through the employee that made them originally. We do not give all employees full access but there are times an employee needs to know what has been done on a job.

  6. More then 500 characters in the job description field

    More then 500 characters in the description field. It's tough when I have more the 500 letters and I need to say more. Also it would be nice to see the address of job sites on the schedule page as well.

    Just wanted to announce that Job description limit has been increased to 2000 characters. Tons of space for everything you need to communicate.

  7. Color Labels for Jobs and Tasks within App to make it easier to select from a large list.

    If the Job or Task was Colored, then the background of that item could reflect it in the app so that you could quickly locate the group of tasks/jobs you were looking for.

  8. Forms and checklists

    It would be nice to have a feature that lets you add checklists and forms to jobs. Or possibly integrate with an existing forms app such as jot form or canvas.

    Hey everyone, happy to announce that our Crew Clock Questions feature is fully released and active! Thank you so much for all the votes and comments, it really helps us determine our product roadmap.

    With this feature, you can require employees to answer a set of questions to everyone, a specific department/location, or job. You can also be notified if a response is deemed as “unexpected.” This is great for verifying work safety, ensuring breaks are taken, retrieving the status of the job and more!     Also if there is some requirement not met by this current version of the feature, please let us know!

  9. Inactive jobs

    When you make a job inactive it should go into an inactive file. That way it doesn't clog up your active jobs. Especially for those of us who have a lot of jobs going at one time

    I’m happy to say this is something that we actually added for tasks, employees, and jobs! On the each page now, you have the ability to view active the active items, inactive items, or all items!

  10. Update job button Location

    Example: This morning I was in the JOBS screen updating several jobs.
    You have to scroll all the way down to update. Which is a pain when
    you're just changing the spelling. And if you happen to scroll over the map
    it sticks there and you end up enlarging the image.

    This has been completed for the Job settings tab, so the save button follows you down the page.

    The rest of the Job details are editable from a pop-up window with a save button right there.

  11. Have job statuses

    I suggest having a drop down menu with job statuses such as 'in progress' 'complete' 'to be scheduled' etc. preferably with an admin setup option where we can create the list of statuses.

    Ideally the guys in the field (from mobile app) should be able to change statuses (preferably we would be able to limit which statuses they can select from).

    Last but not least it would be great to be able to sort jobs on the job page by status

  12. A check box for billable jobs on the phone app.

    A check box on the phone app so that the field crews can quickly hit billable if they are doing service or a time and materials job. It even helps at the same job depending on the task being performed at the time.

    Hey everyone, Job Stages are officially finished and available on the mobile app. with this feature users can place a job into a custom stage (from the web and the mobile app) like “new”, “ready to be scheduled”, “in progress”, “complete”, “billed”, etc.

    Hey everyone, wanted to let you know that this is possible! You can inactivate or delete jobs and still keep all the time records for them.

    A new feature we added lets you view all your jobs, just inactive jobs, or just active jobs.

    There was also a new idea listed in the comments that requests the ability to download lists for active jobs. This is something ClockShark Support can do for you if you request it. But I will add a new idea for this to be available on the user’s side.

  14. Add folders for completed work

    I do over 1,000 service calls a year, many times for the same customer. I would like to see a way to file the jobs in folders to make finding old jobs and notes easier and more accurate

  15. Need ability to bulk upload tasks from spreadsheet

    We currently have an excel spreadsheet with over 150 MasterFormat cost codes.
    Would like the ability to upload the spreadsheet data to Tasks instead of having to post each task/code individually.

  16. Use a better mapping agent

    Currently the maps that you use do not list many, many roads that have been there for years. Additionally, you have to coax the map to show the correct location when you enter the address. This makes the mapping/GPS feature essentially useless in my region (New Hampshire). I was informed you don't use Google, I would suggest you change that, as they are objectively the most accurate.

    Hey Melissa, thanks for the feedback and ideas. We are always looking to provide more value and functionality for the end user.

    I did want to follow up on the issue of having more map data. We use Mapbox for our mapping needs as they are a lot more customizable than Google and are cheaper which allow us to pass those savings to you. They did recently update their map data sets and now they have a TON of more data. While the sets of data aren’t identical, we tend to see they are extremely close. Have you noticed any improvement lately?

  17. Labor and Gross pay tracker

    Allow under the "Employee" section for the administrator to be able to plug in that specific employees gross pay. Therefore, as hours are tracked for each individual job so can an accurate gross labor dollar amount. Which in turn will help generate simpler/more accurate P&L's

    Hey Brad, thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it.

    We did recently add the “Pay Rate” for employees which you can use to get a quick estimate of the amount of money spent on a certain employee, job, or task. Checking our your account it looks like you are taking advantage of it which is great! Was there any feedback you had for that feature?
