There should be a field to enter employee ID #4 votes
when employees are notified about schedule changes, actually let them know what changed. Not just a blank statement of change.
When we click the tab to notify employees of schedule changes, it would be nice if the notice would include what date(s) actually changed on their schedule. Presently, they get a generic notice that just says there was a change.5 votes
Our company does not see " live time tracking - instant see - which would be very helpful and crucial to all the admins monitoring this.
An employee is never seen instantly when they clock in,6 votes
We do provide the Who’s Working Now feature on both web and mobile to give you the ability to see your currently clocked in employees. If this feature isn’t working for you we’d be happy to help you out.
For assistance, please reach out to us at (800) 828-0689 or use live chat directly from our website. We want to make sure you’re getting everything you need from ClockShark!
Prompt Clocked in users every two hours to verify that they are still performing the same task that they were currently working on.
If the Yes button is hit - no action needed
If the No button is hit, take the clocked in employee to the task selection and ask for the new task being performed from the list10 votes
There should be a way for an Admin to directly message the phone of all (or certain) employees through ClockShark.248 votes
Depending on what information needs to be communicated to employees (schedule changes, upcoming job start time), there may already be a notification available in ClockShark. Feel free to check out http://help.clockshark.com/knowledgebase/articles/1133746-using-notifications to see how those notifications suit your needs. :)
Regarding the ability to craft particular messages and send them directly through the app, this is a request that we are hearing more-and-more. I’m sharing this with our development team, and we’ll continue to monitor the votes here for this idea, so we can know when we should add that for you.
If you have any other ideas or suggestions, you can let me know at email@example.com. I love to hear how we can improve ClockShark for you.
All inactive employees should go into a folder so i don't have to scroll thru 5 plus pages of employees.47 votes

Have an employee able to create jobs via PC and not just on the mobile app without having to be an administrator.
It would be nice to have an employee able to create and edit jobs at the desktop and not just on a mobile app. This would prevent giving that employee "administrator". I want the employee to create jobs but not be able to change timecards.6 votes
The ability to turn off the automatic lunch for only select people. Or, make it so it automatically adds the time when they clock out. Right now it looks like it happens at mid night? This has caused us a lot of problems.33 votes
Thanks for this suggestion! Let’s let folks vote on this, and we’ll consider adjusting that feature in a future update! :)
The foremen should be able to select whatever employees are assigned to them for that day/week without being labeled ADMIN. They should be able to control WHO THEY CAN VIEW. Unfortunately, current setting do not allow them to filter who they can and cannot see.
Please developers! Add an option for foremen to add crews under themselves. THANK YOU.1 vote

Allow custom time frame t notify employer if employee fails to clock in at a certain time (it is preset to 4 hours and cannot be changed). Employers need to know quicker than 4 hours so they can follow up and find suitable replacements.10 votes

On the "Who's working now" header, add the total number of working employees in parenthesis i.e. Who's working now (54)2 votes

If an employee misses a day, it'd be nice if the next time they go to open the app (the next day) it prompts them to select a reason why they missed the day prior, and affords them the option to manually add their time.10 votes
Thanks for your suggestions! We are receiving this request more frequently, so we’ll consider adding it on a future update.
Anyone interested in this feature, please vote and share your thoughts so we have a great idea of who would like to see this feature.

What if there was a sort of a photo bank per user where we could see all photos attached by that user. Or even if there was a folder for all the photos attached, so we could scroll through those. Make an option to search by a date would make thing even easier.2 votes

I was shocked to learn that when I assigned a second administrator to our company account, I was able to login with that new administrator account and reveal my password. Revealing other administrator passwords shouldn’t be an option or should be an option that can be opted out of.31 votes
Thanks for sharing this idea, Jeremy. Yep, you’re right: administrators do have the option to view employee passwords, including other administrators. Masking passwords among administrators is something we hope to address here soon. We’ll keep you posted, but please keep sending those votes in, folks.
The term "Employees" has a very defined meaning to the government and how a company is required to report earnings and what regulations are involved. Our company uses "Independent Contractors" for field work with the associated 1099-Misc earnings reporting to the IRS. As such we do not have "Employees". It would be great if "Contractors" was a choice when adding new field workers to our company and have the associated fields within ClockShark show that term in the report headings, etc. instead of the term "Employee(s)".3 votes
Jerry, thanks for sharing your idea here on the Voting Page: we really appreciate the feedback. Thanks for explaining why an extra designation for “Contractors” would be so helpful to your company. Let’s let folks vote on this idea, and we’ll consider it for a future feature update.
