  1. PTO Report change

    I would like to see a PTO report that looks more like the Employee Detail Report, instead of Time Sheet Report. I want to see when an Employee used his PTO for the year, and I have to have 52 pages of report per employee to sift thru to find it, since it will only put one week per page. I would just like a listing of the PTO days, leaving work days off.

  2. Report: Employee total hours for selected dates

    We're looking for a printable report that shows what's on the current "Approve Timesheets" screen: employee name and total regular/OT/DT hours worked for the selected time period.

  5. Add a footnote of the employess name on the bottom of the printed timesheets

    Could ClockShark please add the employees name to all of the timesheets that are printed out. Currently, if the timesheet report is 3 pages or longer, the name is not printed on the 3rd page. It would be great if there was a foot note on the bottom. I am currently having to handwrite it on all of the 3rd pages. Thank you.

  7. Allow me to run a report that reflects the daily over time and weekly over time and specific time period report.

    Within the employee detail report or the time sheets report. I would like to see a daily over time total, weekly over time and total over time for the pay period I am running payrolls for. Something similar to "my time sheet"
    Something like this: Monday 8.00 reg/ 0.25 over time
    Weekly: 40.00 Reg and below it. Over Time 0.32, just like the my sheet and for the pay period would be nice to see as pay period total regular time then beneath it pay period total over time as a confirmation for the breakdown of the daily, weekly and…

  8. Current year automatically shown in Job Detail Reports

    I think that it's confusing and a waste of paper having the Job Detail Reports automatically start out with last year's date. I suggest that all dates should reflect the current month and year automatically and if you need to go back in time then you manually change it then.

    Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that the new report date selector has been released! This now includes options for last 30 days, last 90 days, last 365 days, a year-to-date option, and a last year option!

    The default is still the last 365 days as that was very heavily favored, especially since a lot of jobs can last up to that long if not longer. Have a great day and enjoy!

  9. Why can't I change the date on a report by clicking the box and typing it in. I loathe the click to the right date for start and finish met

    On the job details date range, please let me tab or click and key in the date. I just cannot get the click the date to work 95% of the time across months. It makes me feel stupid which is never good.

    The new date selector is out! This new version removes the drop downs that were a little confusing and simply lets you type the dates in if you want. You can also just click on the calendar to choose the start date and end date.

  10. Reports More User Friendly

    Running reports in Clockshark needs to be more user friendly. WHY do we need to have years 1967 through 2000 on there? Most current year should be at the top of the drop down as well so we dont have to adjust every time. Also, the automatic of the updating of the end date tends to mess up reports and I'm clicking 3-4 times to get the date I want. Also, there is 'Last 7 days, last week', it'd be nice if there was a TODAY quick button. I run daily reports and this would simply having to using the…

    Hey Alysa, the new changes for the date selector have been released. There are a lot more options now and it is much more user friendly without those confusing drop down lists.

  11. Allow longer date ranges in reporting

    Some reports only allow a maximum of 31 days for a report date range. Only the "job details" and "task details" reports allow 365 days, but I would like the same option for "employees summary" and other reports.

    I wanted to pass along the good news that all reports are able to be run for 365 days now! Great for end of year reporting, enjoy them!

  14. Summary reports when reviewing hours for a project for the day (without having to go to reports, select job, select time frame etc)

    When reviewing all hours logged towards one project for the day, have a summary report easily accessible by task at the click of a button.

    Right now, you can view all the hours logged towards that project for that employee for the day. Sometimes our guys have to use a few tasks that day and switch back and forth. It would be nice for a summary to be at the end of that page saying 20 hours toward task A and 40 hours towards Task B for the day. Instead of having to go through the reports tab and selecting…

    This new calendar summary view has been added with our new approvals!

    If you click on the weekly total for the Timesheets, you can view all the time worked by each employee on a certain job/task grouping.

    You can also click on the week view of both jobs view and the see the total by task, job, employee, or grouping for each day and the week.

    We’ve release a new feature for our Pro Plan users that will allow you to upload a company logo and set a company display name, both of which will appear at the top of all report printouts.

    This report would help companies that need to bill overtime by job. Currently you can see your overtime totals but cannot easily see which job the overtime was caused by.

  17. Need a 2nd Layer of search filter for Cost code by Job

    Need a 2nd layer of search filter for reports by cost code. Example: How many hours were spent PAINTING at the SMITH job. VS. How many hours were spent INSTALLING TILE at the SMITH job. This would be HUGE for my company. Accurate and timely information is key!

    Little late on the status, but this has been added for awhile. When viewing the Job Details report, you get a breakdown for the hours spent by each employee and each task as well.
