  1. Create Tick Box for Change Orders

    We would use Tasks extensively and if we have to create a Task called "Change Order" it would prevent us from determining the actual task performed as a change order.

    Having a tick box along with a field to enter a change order number or description of work performed under a change order would be very helpful. Generating reports, isolating change orders by job would be a must in this scenario.

    With our current functionality adding an separate job would probably be the best workflow. You could have something like Job 1, and then Job 1.1 – Change Order that way you can keep track of all the tasks still being performed.

    You could then run reports for both jobs and add them up which is a little bit more manual. As we continue to grow this would be a useful feature for Sage clients!

    For the admins - once a job is complete to have the ability to view job description on the dashboard as well as the reports.

    Would love to get some more feedback on this idea. Job details and the reports are able to be viewed at anytime on the ClockShark website.

  3. Need to be able to see an employee break time in the console

    I need to be able to see an employee's break time in the console. As it is now, when and employee begins or ends break, I see a popup. I need to see the summary of their break time as well in this field, or I need to have them not be able to use the break button. We have employees who will take advantage sometimes if no one is watching them, and clock back in before they start working. I cannot tell this happened until they are off the clock entirely. I would like to shut off the break…

    Just wanted to follow up with this. On the Who’s Working Now page, you’ll be able to see the start and end times for their break right there.

    Then when they are done for the day, it will show up on the timesheets page. So it should be available on both of those pages. Is there somewhere else that you are wanting this displayed?

  5. Freeze the 'date row' in Scheduling for scrolling

    I would be great if we could see which day we are on when we're scrolled down in the scheduling page.

  6. Gives employees an option to mark per diem for overnight stays

    When an employee has to stay over night our company pays them a per diem. Currently they can leave a note saying they had an overnight but it would be nice if there was a box to check that would also show up in the reports ran with hours worked. That way after the employer runs the weekly hours they wouldn't also have to open up all of the notes to see if there is an overnight.

  7. Have the ability to receive notifications per department as opposed to all users

    I have to review labor hours on a specific group so I'd like to be able to only receive notifications from that group and not company wide.

  8. Divide day into tasks after clocking in and out

    Employees should be able to divide their day by tasks without manually clocking in and out for each task separately.

  9. Include new and recently inactive employee names on monthly ClockShark receipt

    As we get more employees added its harder to audit the amount charged when there is no name attached to the billed amount. I would like to see the breakdown on unused and prorated time for employees added and deleted for that period.

  10. change the "my time sheet" tab

    from the "my time sheet" tab you should be able to edit your time if you have admin rights.
    having to go back and forth is time consuming.

  11. Allow for Mileage to be added to a specific job.

    We allow our employees to use their own vehicles and reimburse them for that mileage. I wish there was a way we could track that on this app.

  12. Comfirm an employee saw their schecule

    Can you have a check make, smiley face, or something next the the employee's name once they look at there own schedule/Job for the next day.

  13. -Employee detail report should have a line for daily total, weekly total, monthly total and overall total when run any specific time period.

It would be nice to not have to add these up manually to see the entire month, or the last 30, etc. when running report for longer period of time. Also, a line for overtime would be nice on this report.

    Hey Scott, thank you so much for providing this idea and letting others have an area to comment and vote!

    So are you looking for some report that provides quick totals?

    We are considering a report that gives you quick regular hours, OT hours, PTO hours, etc. for the employee for a certain date range. And then an optional breakdown that could provide the hours worked per job or task. So it would just do the total, but you could do the range to be a day, a week, a month, etc.

    Does this sound useful or anything you would change with this? Would love any feedback you can provide!

  14. A check box for billable jobs on the phone app.

    A check box on the phone app so that the field crews can quickly hit billable if they are doing service or a time and materials job. It even helps at the same job depending on the task being performed at the time.

  15. Show Budgeted Hours when viewing Time Sheets by job

    When in the Time Sheets tab, can you please show the budgeted hours when viewing "By Job." That data should be really simple to include on this page. A simple bar graph would actually be even better, but at least the budgeted hours should be shown during this view. Currently, the only way that I can see how to view budgeted hours vs actual is by going into the Admin Jobs section. Thanks.

  16. "Who's working now?" screen: show recent clock outs for several hours after

    Have employee location pins show up partially transparent (or gray) for several hours (8?) after the employee clocks out so we can see their last clock out location on the Who's working now screen. This way we can see an overview of who's still working and finished working that day.

  17. Users classified as hourly "employee", salaried "superintendent", or "subcontractor "

    I would like an option to specify different types of users that would clock in. For instance, a user could be an hourly "employee", a contracted "subcontractor", or a salaried "superintendent". All of their time needs to be allocated to active jobs, but compensation may not be tied to actual hours worked.

    This is a great idea, and one that we receive more-and-more, especially with larger companies. Please keep your votes coming, folks, so we know to add this in a future update.

  18. View more than a 7 day range ...

    I am in the process of doing payroll, and I do not see the option to change the date range of more than just 7 days when looking at Timesheets. I would be nice to have the option of changing the range from more than 7 days (or freedom to choose the date range, other than the span of only 7 days).

    Hey everyone thanks for the continued votes and comments!

    We just had a recent improvement to our Timesheet approvals and part of this meant an improved date selector on the Timesheets details page. So once you click on a date for an employee you do have a date selector in the upper left you can use to view up to a month at a time. When you are just viewing an employee at a time, it gets a lot easier to display more information.

    The Timesheets themselves are still capped at a 7 day range because displaying anymore can really get messy, especially when you have lots of employees. But hopefully the date selector above helps you! Otherwise please keep voting!

  19. offer an option to automatically reset the budget job hours on the first day of each new month. We need to track our client hours monthly.

    Offer an option to have budgeted job hours reset automatically on the first day of each month. This allows a company to easily track the budgeted number of monthly hours based on annual retainer contracts set up based on number of hours per month and charge a premium fee for overages.

    Hey everyone, just wanted to do a quick update on this idea. It really sounds like separate functionality from what our current labor budget does. Definitely something we can build, just makes more sense to be a separate function.

    Our current one is built for the life of the job, not intervals within it. And even if we did reset it you’d have to change it say from 50 hours one month, to 100 hours next, to 150 hours. On top of that it isn’t time based at all.

    This might get a little easier with our new Customers feature coming out soon. With this, you can just have a different job for each recurring job you have for a customer. So one for January with budgeted hours, one for February, and so on.
