  1. Task Hours in Real Time

    1) Enter Job hours for a Project in Quickbooks
    2) Integrate those budgeted hours with TASKS in Clockshark
    3) Enable Manager and Foreman to see remaining hours available per task.

    This would be a great feature to offer a little more functionality with project management. We did just recently update our QBO integration to support overtime, vacation and sick time, and custom pay rates. But I can definitely see something like this in the future.

    With limited work time and tons of ideas, we base everything on the support it receives. Let’s get some votes and we can go from there!

  2. GPS flow per day not per clock in clock out

    Would like to be able to track the gps location of my employee per day not every clock in clock out. I want to track where they are at during the day confusing when you have to look at 4 different gps locations rather than the flow of the day.

  3. Let employees see their timesheet in Kiosk mode

    I love kiosk mode, it saves time and so easy now. But the employee is not able to check previous days time. They would like to check their previous days to be sure they are in the correct job and have the correct time.

  4. when employees are notified about schedule changes, actually let them know what changed. Not just a blank statement of change.

    When we click the tab to notify employees of schedule changes, it would be nice if the notice would include what date(s) actually changed on their schedule. Presently, they get a generic notice that just says there was a change.

  5. Weekly Timesheets with Detail

    I would like a report with more than a Summary Page. I have requests for more details, Time IN, Lunch OUT and BACK times, Appointments - Time OUT and Time IN, and end of day Time Out, plus the notes field with Appointment detail, or including PTO if that is available. Notes could be on a separate page with date and employee name or in a log type format. Not on the same Detail page. Places like Work Release like to see that detail.

    Hey Jean, thanks for sharing your feedback and ideas! This definitely sounds like an expanded request for the Employee Details report. Adding the break in/out times to that report and then also a second page of time stamped notes for each employee might be the way to go. Do you think that would solve your request or is there anything else that would be missing?

  6. ClockShark Questions to Specific Employees or Employment Tiers and tasks

    I am so happy clockshark questions was added, however, I don't think it went far enough. I would love the ability to provide specific questionairres to only my managers.

    Hey Rebecca, thanks for providing us your feedback!

    Right now the timesheets and schedules are both alphabetical by employee last name but there is a better way to quickly find someone. If you click CTRL + F on your computer that will pop a find search bar where you can type in an employee and quickly find them on that page. Should be the best option besides us building our own search bar. Hopefully that helps!

    We prioritize all ideas with the momentum and votes they receive. Let’s get some more votes and we can get our own search bar built!

  8. Report of unapproved time

    It would be very helpful to be able to run a report of unapproved time. If an employee enters time after time has been approved, the admin may not be aware of that employee's time. Running a report of unapproved time would hopefully catch any time that has not been approved for a specific time period.

    Just wanted to see if you were aware of our “Unapproved Time” notification we have? This can actually email you and create an error on the timesheets whenever time is synced over to a period that has already been approved.

    We make these times zero by default so the weekly/daily total is not messed up by this new unapproved time. So any report on this time would just be zero. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions or requests for this!

    Just to gather some more feedback, are you wanting the employees to have two separate attachment sections essentially. One just for receipts, and one for the other photos they take?

    Or are you wanting them to be able to view photos associated with that job and also have them be able to upload their own photos?

    We're looking for a printable report that shows what's on the current "Approve Timesheets" screen: employee name and total regular/OT/DT hours worked for the selected time period.

    Happy to announce that we are working on a new Quick Summary report which will you get quick totals for Jobs, Tasks, Employees, and Customer while also providing an optional detailed breakdown.

  11. Create a biweekly report for payoll

    I would like a report that has job totals for a two week period. Currently, I have to print two week reports and add them together. Also, this should be able to be downloaded loaded in a “pretty” report that I do not have to manipulate before working on it.

    Happy to say that the “Last 2 Weeks” option is back for exporting and the reports.

    Other than that, I do think the biweekly option for the Timesheets report in particular is a great idea!

  12. Privilege Assignments: Pay Rate view

    Allow for more granular assignment of privileges to view pay rate of staff. Would like to be able to print out a report for pay rate and trust that that information will be safeguarded without risk of sharing to the wrong person.

    Just wanted to get some more information if I could. Currently the pay rates are only visible by admins and anyone that you grant report privileges. But you can also limit who they can see reports about. So you could make it so the only reports they see are about themselves or someone they are a manager of.

  13. Why can't I customize my interface?

    Why can't I change the default filters and views on my account? You keep changing them with "improvements" making the website much more annoying and difficult to use. For instance, why can't I set "All Jobs" as the default view in the Admin>Jobs interface? Why can't I select ALL Active Jobs in the scheduling interface, not just recently scheduled or recently activated?
    Shouldn't be that hard to change and make a more user friendly interface.

  14. Automatic Meal Breaks: Allow feature to customize which hr the employee takes their meal break

    Our employees take their meal breaks at their 4th hour worked. Currently the auto meal break feature time stamps their meal break at 12 pm - 12:30 pm as our auto meal break is set for 30 minutes. We love the auto meal break feature, but our crew starts early at 6:30 am and the meal break is applied at the incorrect time for them. We then need to update each employee's meal break for each employee manually to correct the time the meal break was taken. It would be great if it is possible to set at which hour…

  16. It would be great if there was a way for a map to show all active jobs for logistic planning

    When scheduling jobs it would be nice to be able to look at a map with pins of active jobs. This would help with scheduling logistics for multiple locations.

  17. Add compliance alerts for licenses

    Under employees, we should have the ability to track their license numbers and their expiry dates and have the option for clockshark to send alerts when license expiry is within 30 or 60 days. Would be very handy for many employers I assume.

    I dislike the new design where I have to click the three lines on the right side under Add Time to access my different Departments. I miss when it was readily available before this last update.

  20. "Time/Hours Remaining" Display

    We give our crews "hours goals" and program in the total hours a job is allotted. We can set the notifications to alert us at a certain point, but our guys have no idea how many hours are left. Yes, they can write it down and do a little subtraction each day, but you know how that works. If they could see a "time remaining" window I think they could better meet their productivity goals.
