  1. Allow employees to access the menu from KioskClock

    It would be helpful to have the menu available to employees after they use their pin to get into the KioskClock. This way they could access the PTO feature and make time sheet corrections. To keep things consistent with KioskClock functionality, each action (edit, request, etc.) should require a picture to be taken.

    I definitely like the idea of getting Kiosk users access to view their timesheets, schedules, and request/view their available pto.

    I think this would be a really valuable resource for lots of companies. With limited work time and lots of ideas, we prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. With great support, this idea will become one of our upcoming feature releases, so please keep voting!

  2. Push Notification Flag

    Check Box / Button that can immediately send notification to Admin, or others based on Job that links to a specific time clock entry.

    Could be used when task is complete and ready to bill out.
    Or
    > Just something that needs to be addressed (notes / attachments) and noted now rather than later when time sheet is reviewed.
    > Maybe a order delivery was shorted , etc

    I can definitely see the value of this idea in providing a greater communication and workflow, but I would love to get some more specifics.

    Are you wanting notifications around the status of a job or new developments for it? Or are you wanting notifications just based on notes on an employee’s timesheet? Or kind of both options, or something new? I would love any more feedback, thanks!

  3. We'd like to have the option to disable the START BREAK option in the app.

    Different groups of workers might require different rules for breaks. For example, one group gets paid for all breaks while others don't get paid.
    If the administrator could disable the option for those workers, then it'd be easier to manage their timesheets

    Just wanted to grab some more information. Are you trying to disable the break button for people that have all of their breaks paid for?

    In cases like this, you could create a job/task called “Paid Break” and then users could simply switch to this job instead of starting a break. Normally we have people request the break button to be disabled so that people don’t have two breaks with the automatic break option.

    But I would love to get more information of your specific workflow!

  4. Branding for KioskClock

    We have a tablet setup with KioskClock in the shop full time for staff to clock in, it would be great to be able to have our logo, colour scheme & branding on this tablet.

  5. Work alone monitoring

    Can we send an auto notice to ee's working alone every 2 hours that they respond to by a simple click to let us know they are ok. We require this for Occ. Health & Safety regs - able to access a ee report showing that this process has been followed.

  6. Add an option to make notes non-optional that sync to QBO

    While the Clockout Questionnaire feature is great, that info doesn't sync over to QBO. It would be nice to have an option in the settings to make notes mandatory at clockout (not questionnaire) as opposed to optional as it is this notes field that syncs into QBO.

  7. Company Cost Time EXPENSING

    Ability to enter 'Work time' on a piece of company equipment as an expense and vs. having it designated as a 'Client Job'. Currently, ClockShark requires all time to be billed to a client JOB.

    This is an issue as we have Electricians, Labors and Mechanics who will work both on Client Jobs and thier time charged to said client jobs in SAGE, but then these same people will be doing 'Administrative' work for US the employer and the time spent working here actually needs to be billed to 'Equipment Maintenance' or 'Employee Training' or 'Administrative Costs'.     Hey Duane, thanks for reaching out to us and providing your feedback as well as explaining your workflow.

    So if I am understanding you correctly, you have some workers (electricians, laborers, mechanics, etc.) that will both track time for a client job, but also for “company time” which could involve administrative work, maintenance work, etc.

    I think the most straightforward solution would be to create new jobs called “Company Time”, “Administrative Work”, or something along those lines. Then when these workers are switching into this kind of work, they can switch to this Job on ClockShark as well and all the time would be correctly allocated.

    If this doesn’t work, maybe because it happens periodically throughout the day and they don’t have time to switch, you could still create these as jobs and manually enter in the time. How you get the correct amount of time would be the issue…

  8. improve GEO-TAGGING = 2 critical ideas

    improve the GEO-TAGGING!! this is a critical function to our operations and at this moment there is critical deficiencies.
    1) clocking out/in for lunch breaks - at these moments it should be geo-tagged. without geo-tagging it leaves the door open to abuse. we do not pay for lunch breaks. a staff member can leave the site and go to a restaurant and sit there for 30 mins before clocking out for their break - and none of these movements are tagged - so we have no way to prove otherwise.

    To your first point, they get a GPSTrak ping every 15-20 minutes, so if they left the site and sat at a restaurant for 30 minutes you should have one or two pings of them before they clock out for break.

    Your second point is an interesting idea, and something we could explore in the future. In your ideal scenario, would you be able to click on this list and a map would pop up from there? Or do you just want to see all the pings for the day on one map?

  9. Capture Device Name when clocking in or out

    Add the device name to the information recorded when clocking in/out (specially when clocking in/out via Kiosk).
    This will give the administrator a way to audit employees and foremen (in our case) of which kiosk (device name/ tablet owner) was used.

    Hey there, I could see how this would be useful.

    And the moment our kiosks are built to be clocked in and out from the same device. So there could be multiple spread across many job sites, but you would want to clock into one and clock out of another.

    But if the crews switched often, this could still be a useful feature. With limited work time and lots of ideas, we prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. With great support, this idea will become one of our upcoming feature, so please keep voting!

  10. No automatic clock out after 23 hrs

    I am still working on getting all employees to use the app correctly, but I have several that will shut off their location & notification services because they say it drains the battery. Then if they forget to clock out they don't get a notification when leaving job site. If they were still clocked in the next morning they would see they didn't get clocked out and leave me a note.

    Hey Tracie, thanks for reaching out to us with your feedback!

    I can see your dilemma. The 23 hour clock out is really integrated in our system, and not something easily changed. Of course we can consider all possibilities.

    In the short term, you can have your crew not block notifications at least. Those should not have an impact on the battery life, although the location can especially for older phones.

    But if they allow notifications, they can also set up reminders for themselves to clock out. They can do this at a certain time everyday or after they have been on the clock for a certain time.
