  1. Time Card Details suggested based on Schedule

    Our crew unanimously prefers to clock their timesheets via the Manual Timesheets option. While this is fine with us, it has been often suggested within our company that ClockShark include a feature that suggests an editable timecard based off the employee's schedule. (i.e. It looks like you were on X Jobsite from X time to X time, doing X task. Is that correct? Did you take a break?) The employee can then adjust the timecard for accuracy.

    I can definitely see that being really useful if you did work your scheduled shift that day and need to do either no edits or light edits.

    I will bring this to our team so we can discuss it for future projects. Since we have tons of ideas, we tend to prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. If this becomes a popular request, we will build it!

  2. Add day of week indicator to IOS date/time selector

    When retroactively adding time, the start and end date/time selector dial would be much easier to use if there was a day of the week indicator next to the date (e.g., Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun). Thanks

  3. Approval Banner on Mobile Timesheets

    Add an Approval banner to mobile timesheets to show employees when their times have been approved at a glance.

    Currently, the only way to know if your time has been approved on the mobile app is to try editing a past time punch. We would like employees to be able to do a quick scan over their timesheets for the pay period and make sure all of their times have been approved.

  4. Assign customer when creating job from app

    When staff create a new job from the app but they are unable to assign the job to a customer.
    We would like to be able to access the existing customers and link the job to them.

    This is definitely something we want to add to the mobile app as Customers become more integrated into ClockShark.

  5. Automatic Refresh When Opening App

    When there are updates made from Admin, the employees do not know and have to be told to refresh the app (sometimes they do not understand because they speak another language and someone has to translate). I think that it would be a really great idea for the app to automatically be refreshed when the app is opened.

    This is something we are looking into to as a possible improvement as it could be very useful for both admins and employees. I will keep you updated on the progress made.

  6. Have the ability to create crews/teams, or assign employees as supervisors and tie people to them

    I think it would be awesome if you could create a crew or team, or check a box and make an employee a supervisor/foreman and then be able to assign people to those supervisors. When you create the supervisors schedule it auto-populates the assigned crew members the same schedule.

    Hey Ryan thanks for reaching out with your feedback.

    We actually do have something similar to this. With our Departments and Locations feature you can create a group of employees. This can be things like “Field Crew 6”, “Oregon Team”, etc.

    When creating a schedule you can schedule it for the entire department/location that way an entire group of people get the same schedule all at once. You can also create a shift for one person and then “copy” that shift to the rest of the team.

    Our technicians have said that it would be great if when looking at their schedule on the app, if they could click on the job and see the comments for that job.

    This is definitely something we want to add as it would allow much faster access to comments, viewing the customers assigned, and more.

  8. Be able to send out company wide message/phone number in whose working now

    We would like to send a message out to employees when there is an issue that affects the whole company. For example, when we have a snowstorm and we want to send our employees home early it would be nice to send out a message in one format.

    We use the "who's working now" feature not only as a management tool but as a way that employees can see who is close by in case they need a hand or a tool, etc. Having the phone number would be very handy.

    Hey Bryan, thanks for reaching out to us with your ideas.

    I had a couple of questions just for clarification. It sounds like this is kind of two different ideas, is that correct? Or were you wanting to text people from the Who’s Working Now page?

    We have another idea that is similar to this, where you would be able to have a pop up message for users when they open the app.

    And then for the phone numbers, are you wanting to text them directly from ClockShark, or just have the numbers visible for easy access?

  9. Force/Push sync

    Everytime you Change something. Employees have to sync there app, to get it. My idea is to have a tab under admin, so they can force sync new additions, so information is consistent throughout the app.

  10. Just Scheduling Start Times

    I would like to schedule start times rather than time slots. In our line of work, we schedule a start time and work until the task is complete, not to a scheduled stop point. I would like to use the feature that sends out start times to our employees, but at this point it causes confusion due to the start and stop times.

    If the goal is to not have the employees get a reminder to clock out, you can change this on the Admin > Notifications page. If you don’t want to require a clock out at all, then this idea is perfect.

  11. Add an 'open shifts' area that staff would be able to see.

    If staff are able to see any open shifts, they could add them to their schedule themselves. Having an admin approval would be needed as well.

  12. Add an option to make notes non-optional that sync to QBO

    While the Clockout Questionnaire feature is great, that info doesn't sync over to QBO. It would be nice to have an option in the settings to make notes mandatory at clockout (not questionnaire) as opposed to optional as it is this notes field that syncs into QBO.

    I understand the desire here, it would be nice to make sure the notes you are wanting in QBO show up correctly. Just out of curiosity, what are these notes usually about and how do you use them in QBO?

  14. Add jobs on mobile app from the Schedule

    It would be great to be able to add a job at the schedule screen on the mobile app. Unless Im doing it wrong I have to go to the clock in screen to add the job then go back to the schedule screen and select it.

    You are correct that right now the Time Clock is the only place on the mobile app where you can add a Job/Task.

    I think it definitely makes sense to add this on the scheduler though, when adding time manually, and even a couple other places.

  17. Company Cost Time EXPENSING

    Ability to enter 'Work time' on a piece of company equipment as an expense and vs. having it designated as a 'Client Job'. Currently, ClockShark requires all time to be billed to a client JOB.

    This is an issue as we have Electricians, Labors and Mechanics who will work both on Client Jobs and thier time charged to said client jobs in SAGE, but then these same people will be doing 'Administrative' work for US the employer and the time spent working here actually needs to be billed to 'Equipment Maintenance' or 'Employee Training' or 'Administrative Costs'. This gets expensed…

    Hey Duane, thanks for reaching out to us and providing your feedback as well as explaining your workflow.

    So if I am understanding you correctly, you have some workers (electricians, laborers, mechanics, etc.) that will both track time for a client job, but also for “company time” which could involve administrative work, maintenance work, etc.

    I think the most straightforward solution would be to create new jobs called “Company Time”, “Administrative Work”, or something along those lines. Then when these workers are switching into this kind of work, they can switch to this Job on ClockShark as well and all the time would be correctly allocated.

    If this doesn’t work, maybe because it happens periodically throughout the day and they don’t have time to switch, you could still create these as jobs and manually enter in the time. How you get the correct amount of time would be the issue…

  18. Manage Integration on the Mobile App

    Could we add the integration buttons and menus into the mobile app? It sucks to enter the job into (I use quick books) and then have to login on my mobile browser which the site loads in desktop. Have to zoom in to find admins and integrations. Finish all that and have to switch back to the app to schedule

  19. See more than one timesheet at a time on the mobile app

    I know that visual space is always an issue on mobile apps, but it would be helpful to be able to see all of the timesheets that I have access to at one time on the mobile app, similar to the way it's shown on the desktop. Currently, I have to click on each individual employee to view their timesheet.

    Visual space is the main limiter there like you said. One thing you can do though is open the website through your mobile browser to get that same view. This can be really useful with a tablet as well.

  20. Allow employees to access the menu from KioskClock

    It would be helpful to have the menu available to employees after they use their pin to get into the KioskClock. This way they could access the PTO feature and make time sheet corrections. To keep things consistent with KioskClock functionality, each action (edit, request, etc.) should require a picture to be taken.
