  1. Intuit Online Payroll

    Integration with Intuit Online Payroll would be great. We use IOP for tracking PTO as well and it would be great if we could integrate all this together.

    Integrations are always tricky because we need lots of companies to request it in order to take the time to build and support the integration. Intuit Online Payroll may be ending its service soon as well as they make the transition toward QuickBooks Online Payroll.

    If we get a lot of support though, this is something we can look into.

  2. Edit Job Stage via Zapier

    I'd love to be able to edit job stages via zapier. I currently use Trello to manage projects, and I wish I could set up a Zap so that once I archive a card (aka a job) in Trello, it automatically changes the job status in Clockshark to "complete".

  3. ability to access/edit job notes by managers

    Our techs use job notes to let us know what materials were used and what work was done.
    We would like to have managers be able to edit those notes to input material pricing and additional notes so that info can be used to bill jobs.

    Hey Elisa thanks for providing your feedback and the detailed reasoning behind it!

    You could give your managers the ability to edit the timesheets for the techs and this would allow them to edit the notes. It would also allow them to edit the rest of the shift which may or may not be desired.

    One other thing that might help is using our new Conversations feature. This allows anyone with access to the job to comment on the job and share notes/files. You can check out the example I’m attaching. Along with commenting, you can also mention users and they can get notified about it or they can follow jobs for continued updates. This is also on the website and the mobile app so everyone can communicate together.

  4. Add employee file or ID numbers

    Employee file or ID numbers attached to each employee and visible on the timesheets and in reports would reduce any errors of persons with the same last name. This would also be an easier way to search.

  5. Fix integration with QB online Canadian

    Make it so OT hours in ClockShark come across in QB correctly as OT and not as regular hours.

    I would love to support this enhancement for Canada. Unfortunately, this is not something that Intuit offers with their API at the moment. If that changes in the future, I know we will gladly support it.

    Clocking in with Sandata is mandatory in the state of Wisconsin for certain MCO's for home care agencies.

  7. Have the timesheet notes in ClockShark export to MYOB

    Uploading employee hours to MYOB, it would be great if the notes written in clockshark flow through as well.

  8. Zapier Intergration

    Since it seems that it is unlikely to be adding scheduled notifications to clients, maybe you should consider adding Zapier integration feature for new schedules.
    i.e. New schedule for Job XYZ has been added
    Zapier triggers auto email to client with an attached schedule for the week.

    This is something that is actually already possible with our Zapier integration, albeit maybe not as cleanly as you would like. It involves creating a new draft email everytime a schedule is created. I’ll share a video that has me going through the process for you.

  9. Recording Absences

    When an employee is away due to illness, training, etc., they should be able to easily login and indicate "Absent - ill" or Absent - training" or Absent - vacation, whatever. Currently we have made up jobs called "Absent" and tasks" called ill. Also, they should not have to indicate a time frame if it is all day.

    Hey everyone, thanks for sharing your comments, feedback, and votes for this idea!

    It is starting to kind of combine a couple different ideas into one so I just wanted to get some more information.

    First to Justin’s point, this is definitely possible with our PTO/sick time features. The employees could request the day off sick and be able to see how much sick time they have left directly from the mobile app or the website. When requesting this time off, a card is placed on both the timesheets and schedule automatically.

    But for Stacey’s original idea, it sounds like you are wanting a “sticky note” kind of feature. With this you would be able to write a note of any type and place it on the timesheet without any time associated with it. Does that sound right? And would this be an admin only option or a permission…

  11. Allow custom field from Quickbooks to be mapped to Job Number

    Would be extremely helpful for us if we could map one of our custom fields in Quickbooks to the Job Number field in Clockshark

  12. Mapping jobs to Sage 100 Contractor by Job # instead of the description

    Currently when mapping jobs from ClockShark to Sage 100 Contractor, it maps based on the description. Our job names in Sage are almost never the same description they are in ClockShark. So currently none of our jobs automatically map, I have to do them manually.

    It does currently map based on the names of the jobs in ClockShark and Sage, so if those match then it will map. But I can definitely see how the job number would be a more accurate system if done properly.

  13. Fix / Complete Zapier Integration

    We choose this platform specifically for it's Zapier integration.

    However, it is missing critical components:

    Break button doesn't trigger a clock in/out event...this is the biggest problem. Also, I cannot disable the break button functionality, and it doesn't work like it should (like a clock out/in)...so I absolutely cannot ensure consistency with an integrated app, at all.

    Manual Time card entry addition also does not trigger events...creates the same issue.

    Then things that are just plain missing, like 'Create Schedule Entry' action.

    It's great that you guys are working on connectors, but if they're not complete enough to even force…

  14. Integrate Google Calendar Into Clock Shark

    Our team all uses Google Calendar for scheduling so it would be wonderful if it could be uploaded to Clock Shark anytime changes are made.

  16. Restrict the Export timesheets button to Admins or as a permission granted access only.

    This should not be tied to managers who can edit timecards. Only the payroll admin should have access or individual who has granted access to export to the payroll processing site should have this ability.

  17. I would love to see clockshark create subtask that roll up into task that will link to a quickbooks service item.

    Say you have 6 service items within quick books that you use for invoicing. As this time only one task from clock shark will link to a service item in quick books. So if i am performing several levels of billable task within a clock shark task those levels of task will not link to quick books during a sync. I don't need several service items or even track several task within quick books but i do need to be able to create a report from clock shark that breaks those task out into hourly formats.

    I’m a little confused about what you are wanting to accomplish. Right now ClockShark can integrate with either one service item or subitem. So if you have six service items in QuickBooks are you wanting to map this to six ClockShark tasks? That is definitely possible, just one task to one service item. We can’t do one ClockShark tasks to many different service items in QuickBooks.

  20. when new job is added in quick books have it also enable gofence in clock shark, so we don't have to manually do it

    when adding a new job to quick books and then it updates in to clock shark have it enable the gofence. This eliminates having to manually go in to enable it.
