JC - This makes a lot of sense thanks for sharing the feedback. We'll be looking for various ways to improve GPS tracking in future updates so your feedback will be considered in that process.

Thanks for the suggestion! This definitely makes sense and is something we're aware people want to do so we are considering ways to address.

Makes sense Sam, thanks for sharing the idea. We'll consider ways to possibly help out in that situation with product changes. One workaround idea for the time-being might be to create a generic employee or two that could be used for this purpose. Then at least you'd have their times recorded. Also worth noting, is that although you cannot currently add employees from the mobile app, it is possible to do so from mobile by logging into the website from your phone or tablet. You'd just add the employee from the mobile browser, then go back to the app, perform a full sync using the Sync option, and the employee would then be available to clock time to via KioskClock or via CrewClock. Hope that helps. It's also likely that on a future update, adding an employee will be possible from the mobile app.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is currently possible using the Zapier integration. I'll pass along to the team that you're interested in this being possible without use of a third-party integration!

Thanks for the suggestion Ted. We're looking at ways to allow custom data to be captured as well as questions answered by an employee during their shift. What type of hazard assessment specifically were you looking for?

Anna, thank you so much for taking the time to post your idea. It’s great to have your input.
Just to clarify your request, are you asking for a signature line and Admin notes feature on the “Employee Details” report? You can print the employee notes on that report, but I’m not sure if that’s what you’re asking for. Feel free to share any extra details you have so our developers can be confident when considering it.

Thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it. We prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support.
Great suggestions spread like wildfire. With enthusiastic support, this idea will become one of our upcoming feature releases, so please keep voting. :)
This is an excellent idea, Twyla. One thing our customers are accustomed to trying is hitting "Ctrl-F" on their keyboard and searching the webpage directly. Often that can return where a job might be scheduled.
Of course, this is a workaround until this idea gets enough support to be formally added to the product, but I wanted to suggest it for you. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions or ideas.

Hi Glen,
This is a really great suggestion! Currently, ClockShark updates an employee’s location at 15 minute intervals. This is a conservative interval that ensures that employee cell batteries aren’t taxed by using their GPS.
Thanks for explaining why a different interval would be so helpful to your company. As your idea catches steam here on our voting page, we’ll look into adding that to ClockShark. :)

Thanks for your suggestions! We are receiving this request more frequently, so we’ll consider adding it on a future update.
Anyone interested in this feature, please vote and share your thoughts so we have a great idea of who would like to see this feature.
Hey all, this is an idea we are hoping to implement soon, thanks for the suggestions! Keep em coming!
Hi, for writing payroll checks, we recommend connecting ClockShark to QuickBooks. Payroll is complex enough that it really takes a separate product from your time tracking system. As an Intuit Apps Partner, ClockShark has a tight integration with QuickBooks Online (and the desktop versions too) that allows for super easy generation of payroll checks. Using QuickBooks Online, you can even process your payroll right from your smartphone like you mentioned!

Hi Bill, thanks for the feedback. This is currently a limitation of the technology in the devices. In testing we've found smaller radius create even more problems, such as the system thinking you are outside the fence when you are still inside it. As the technology improves we will revisit it in order to give you the best working feature possible. In the meantime, the best suggestion is to consider not using fences when you have multiple sites in the same close-by area.

Thanks for your feedback, Peter, on the reporting tools in ClockShark. We’ll be taking a look at that for you.
If anyone else has any input on that feature, please share in the comments, or endorse with votes.
Hey Jon, thanks for the feedback. We'll pass it along to the team. Sounds like you'd like notes added, and possibly payrates? What else?

Hi Daniel, thanks for the suggestion! Here is a way you could accomplish that currently:
1. Add a new Employee and give you new Employee a name like Unassigned Jobs.
2. Go into the Employee record for all of your employees and give them Manager Permission to View Schedules for the new Employee you created.
3. Assign work to the new Employee "Unassigned jobs"
4. Your employees will now be able to view the Schedules screen on the ClockShark website and will only be able to see their own schedule and the schedule for Unassigned Jobs.
Note- they will only be able to see the Unassigned Jobs schedule on the website currently, although within the next couple months we are rolling out the ability to view schedules for others to mobile as well. (Currently they are only able to see their own schedule on mobile). -

We have a lot of part-time employees and it would be nice if they could enter their availability for scheduling purposes.

Thanks for sharing your idea, Shaahid! Currently, one can set a job as “Active” or “Inactive” in ClockShark, but your idea would fine-tune that feature, and even allow employees to control the job access. After all, they’re likely the first ones to know when a job is complete.
I can see that this idea is gaining traction. Great! We’re going to keep a close eye on the support for this idea, so that we know when to build that feature for you. Of course, if you have any other suggestions or ideas, please let me know. I love hearing them.
suggest also allowing admin to be notified when Job or Task is completed.

Hi Spencer, thanks for the suggestion. We're working on ways to better make sure employees stay on the current version of the mobile app. We've just released a notification feature for the employee that prompts them to download a new version when one is available. We'll continue to monitor how well this works and look at other ways to improve visibility.
