    You are correct about the current functionality, we definitely want to improve how our permissions work.

    Always keep in mind that with our audit log you can see who added time and review it to make any needed changes.

    With limited work time and lots of ideas, we prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. Let keep the votes coming and we will build this!

    Thanks for sharing your support for this idea here! As support continues to mount for this idea, our development team will plan how to bring this to you in ClockShark. :)

    Reading this idea, and all the comments below, I can see that the consensus is that administrators would like a way to designate an Off/Holiday/PTO day, without having to insert any time for an employee. Currently, in ClockShark there is an available workaround that’s equivalent to the feature being requested.

    The problem is with your "work around method" is you can't look up total sicks days reported because your reports filter searches by hours! So when you add time and take it away by putting in a break period of same time as the shift, it won't allow your system to catch it.

    What Alainna said below. MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY.

    I would love to be able to track and record when a employee calls in sick or takes vacation (so we can keep track of how many vacations days they have taken or days they have called off to show them). Would be nice if they could request a vacation day through the app and then the admin has to approve it and then it records it.

    Thanks for sharing this idea. Making a GPS “Blast” feature that could conservatively refresh all the locations of employees is something that our customers have begun asking for. Keep sending in those votes so that we know when exactly to build this for you.

    Out of curiosity, did you know that you can repeat a shift for up to 180 days out? This might be a workaround so that the next month, the same jobs are already in the calendar and you can edit them there. Feel free to let me know if that helps.
