Reading this idea, and all the comments below, I can see that the consensus is that administrators would like a way to designate an Off/Holiday/PTO day, without having to insert any time for an employee. Currently, in ClockShark there is an available workaround that’s equivalent to the feature being requested.

Have the ability to mark an employee absent for purposes of tracking attendance daily. Sometimes the app doesn't work properly for us and having the guys turn in their own time isn't always the best practice for some people. So if I am aware on any particular day they weren't at work I can mark it immediately and not have any confusion during payroll and no argument because we can't remember in 2 weeks if they were on the job or not.
