    Hey Molly thanks for providing your feedback with this idea! This is something that has been brought up and we are looking into ways we can adapt our Clock Out Questions to be used in this situation.

    I think this would be a really valuable resource for lots of companies. With limited work time though and lots of ideas, we prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. Let’s keep the votes coming and we will build this!

    In previous updates, we mentioned that you can see the budgeted hours vs. the actual hours work on the Jobs list page. However, some people wanted their crew leaders to see this information without making them admins.

    We do have a new “edit jobs” manager permission which allows employees with this permission to view/edit Jobs just like admins can.

    This allows you to assign this power to employees without having to make them a full admin.

    We would still like a report of scheduled/budgeted time vs. actual time worked, however. Thanks for the continued support!

    Add the ability to enter a hour budget at the job/task level and provide the appropriate reports showing budget vs actual by job by task.

    Job: Main Street Pub
    Task: Demo Budget 32.0 hours Actual 29.5 hours
    Task: Framing Budget 60.0 hours Actual 64.0 hours
    Total Hours: Budget 92.0 hours Actual 93.5 hours.

    Of course, not in this format, but you get the gist.
    A CSV export report would be awesome!

    Hey everyone, thanks for sharing your comments, feedback, and votes for this idea!

    It is starting to kind of combine a couple different ideas into one so I just wanted to get some more information.

    First to Justin’s point, this is definitely possible with our PTO/sick time features. The employees could request the day off sick and be able to see how much sick time they have left directly from the mobile app or the website. When requesting this time off, a card is placed on both the timesheets and schedule automatically.

    But for Stacey’s original idea, it sounds like you are wanting a “sticky note” kind of feature. With this you would be able to write a note of any type and place it on the timesheet without any time associated with it. Does that sound right? And would this be an admin only option or a permission…

    The ability to add a placecard to the schedule to show an employee is off today and a note field to state the reason.

    Hey There, Stan! Thanks for the suggestion about changing the language of “Breaks” to “Meals”, and for including a helpful link too. We’ll send this over to our development team so they can look at it; but per usual, we’ll also leave it open here so other users can vote with you on it.
