Reading this idea, and all the comments below, I can see that the consensus is that administrators would like a way to designate an Off/Holiday/PTO day, without having to insert any time for an employee. Currently, in ClockShark there is an available workaround that’s equivalent to the feature being requested.

Allow notes to schedules always. I am unable to post any notes on any schedules unless they clock at least one minute in. If they miss a shift due to being sick , I want to be able to make a note that they called in sick or they are taking time off etc. without clocking one minute of time. I would like to just make notes on each day without needing to clock any time.

This idea in particular is a little tricky because it is a big change that can affect lots of aspects across the entire platform. But as we grow we will continue to assess the ways that we can meet the needs of our users.
