    I definitely think this would be a great feature and we are looking to add some more functionality in areas such as this. Would love some more specific feedback about the desired framework, so please let us know!

    being able to add per diem , to a job , sub grouping, and or individual so it integrates on the approval portion once its up dated we have jobs that range from city to city and state to state being able to set it so its automatic

    Hey everyone, thanks for sharing your comments, feedback, and votes for this idea!

    It is starting to kind of combine a couple different ideas into one so I just wanted to get some more information.

    First to Justin’s point, this is definitely possible with our PTO/sick time features. The employees could request the day off sick and be able to see how much sick time they have left directly from the mobile app or the website. When requesting this time off, a card is placed on both the timesheets and schedule automatically.

    But for Stacey’s original idea, it sounds like you are wanting a “sticky note” kind of feature. With this you would be able to write a note of any type and place it on the timesheet without any time associated with it. Does that sound right? And would this be an admin only option or a permission…

    if it could also deduct from an employees PTO policy as well so they could automatically see the time they have taken off and whats left

    Hey everyone thanks for sharing your feedback and concerns.

    We are always working to improve the GPS functionality and close any holes that are being exploited. This is not something that is that easy to do with the way the devices work and the limitations imposed by the Android and iOS operating systems. We do expect that we will keep making improvements and are working on that always. There is also a degree of employee education involved and at times when employees are doing the wrong thing they will need to be talked to. Please feel free to share any additional concerns and we will keep working to deliver the best GPS experience possible.

    yes if they disable there gps and its enabled as part as employee requirements when building a new employee if they turn off there location services they automatically get clocked out this has been issues with a coupe employees but after informing them their trucks also have gps its more a redundant system then anything and company phones also have find my phone which can be tracked

    basically an employee can comment for over night stay or be clocked into a job that receives per diem which can very in amount I would like an option to where selected employees can add per diem - per each day, select amounts, and add recurring per diem for longer jobs based on schedules or closing jobs also I want it to only show up to admins and employees whom can approve time
